Java to C# converter - Sharpen - http://clickth.at/htOz3U ...

I was watching the video of Miguel de Icaza's MIX session on Mono, and he mentioned a Java to C# converter called Sharpen.  It is implemented as an Eclipse plugin.  Interestingly, de Icaza indicated that the Mono team found Sharpen preferable to iKVM.NET (which converts Java bytecodes to .NET CLR bytecodes).  I'm sure Sharpen is a tool I'll be looking at sometime, as C# and .NET are interesting, but I'm still far more familiar with Java.

By the way, de Icaza's session on Mono is very interesting in its own right, well worth watching.

Really enjoying R.E.M.'s new album "Collapse Into Now" ...

R.E.M. is a band that I've had in the back of my mind, for quite a while now, as one to which I should listen more.  Recently, before the release of the album, they had a remix competition where they gave people the raw individual tracks of the new song "It Happened Today" to play with.

You can see the album version here on YouTube.  The remix competition was before the album came out; here is my remix.  It has a few rough edges, I did it fairly quickly, but you should get the idea.  In truth, I still prefer my remix to version that came out on the album.  Let me know what you think.
