Tim Bray and Canary Wharf

I had the great pleasure of having Tim Bray join us for dinner, the week before last.  Tim has already mentioned it in a blog post about his trip to London.  Last year, I had dinner in Vancouver with Tim, his wife Lauren Wood, and their son, so this was the return fixture.

In his post, Tim has some photos of Canary Wharf at night, viewed over Greenland Dock.  I like the second of them particularly (a longer exposure showing the lights off nicely).  Compare them, if you like, to my own photos of Canary Wharf at sunset, viewed over Greenland Dock.  These were taken from more-or-less the same spot as Tim's photos (plus or minus 10 metres).
